about Goodwill's EmployAbility Institute
Goodwill's EmployAbility Institute is a one-stop career center, offering education, job training and employment services designed to help local residents with disabilities and disadvantages fulfill their employment goals.

Our dedicated workforce development professionals assist consumers in first discovering their greatest strengths and interests and then in formulating career plans that incorporate intensive training, job coaching, and employment development services. The ultimate goal of all of our services is to help consumers secure and maintain meaningful employment so that they can experience the increased self-confidence, economic independence and immense dignity that accompany the power of work.

Sometimes when a person has a physical or mental disability or is experiencing a disadvantaging condition such as welfare dependency, illiteracy or spousal abuse, they need extra help in finding and maintaining employment. Goodwill is here to provide assistance. Our core business is helping individuals achieve their fullest potential through the power of work.

admissions process
Typically, consumers are referred to Goodwill by the State Department of Vocational Rehabilitation Services, WorkFirst New Jersey, insurance companies, local social service agencies and other organizations in the workforce development arena.
