Diagnostic
Vocational Evaluation (DVE) is a valuable career
development tool designed to explore, identify and
recommend appropriate career options.

Our professional
evaluators utilize the McCarron-Dial Vocational
Evaluation System, along with situational assessments
and individualized counseling, to obtain the objective
data necessary for formulating a career development
plan.
|

Upon completion
of DVE, consumers are either referred to a Goodwill
training program or referred elsewhere to a program
that matches their employment goals.
|

Maple Shade, Bordentown, and Westampton locations.
We also deploy mobile evaluators to alternative
locations, as needed.

This multifaceted,
self-paced course prepares consumers for employment
as administrative assistants, bookkeepers, receptionists
and other administrative positions.

It teaches the
many computer and office skills needed for employment
in today's ever-evolving automated office environment.

In a state-of-the-art
computer lab, consumers receive individualized instruction
in:
- Beginners & Advance Curriculums
- Microsoft Office Professional (Outlook, Word, Excel,
Access and PowerPoint), Quickbooks, Peachtree
- Keyboarding Skills
- Receptionist Skills Training
- Administrative Skills Simulation
- And other essential skills

Get forklift training and become certified by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA)
|
| |
This one day course covers safety rules and regulations pertaining to lift trucks, counter balance trucks, narrow aisle trucks and motorized hand trucks.
|

Upon successful completion of this course, you will be OSHA-certified and posses a Forklift Operator Card-ideal for jobs in warehouses and manufacturing facilities.
|

This course teaches
consumers how to perform light industrial tasks
including assembly, inspection, quality control,
heat sealing and other production functions in preparation
for employment in assembly or warehouse settings.

Through outsourcing
agreements with local businesses like J&J Snack Foods and
Mothers Work, consumers receive hands-on job training while earning a paycheck.

Prior
to completing any Goodwill training service, consumers
receive individualized instruction in:
- Developing a resume and cover letter
- Job interviewing techniques
- Job search and retention strategies
- Dressing for success-proper attire/grooming/hygiene
- Understanding work ethics
- Other essential job-related areas.

& Follow Up Services |

A Goodwill employment
specialist reviews a graduate's skills and knowledge,
prior work experience, transportation issues and
interests.
|
| |
The employment
specialist then helps cultivate job leads in the
community and matches graduates' skills with job
requirements.
|
| |
To ensure a successful
match is made, Goodwill offers 30-day, 90-day and
one year follow up services. |

Goodwill’s Commercial
Drivers License-Class B Training Program was designed
to put participants on the road to success in a top demand occupation. |
|
Graduates attain Class
B driver with Passenger, Hazmat, Tanker and Air Brake
Endorsements, making them eligible to drive school
buses, commercial buses, taxis, limos, and delivery
trucks. |
|
Training also includes
courses in computer literacy, CPR, non-combative self
–defense and life skills. |
|
Eligibility requirements:
must have valid PA driver’s license for 3 consecutive
years to date; have an acceptable driver’s abstract;
must pass a mandatory drug screening, vision exam
and physical; criminal background check. |

Helps motivate participants
in determining career interests and goals; eliminate
employment barriers; develop positive work ethics
and behaviors; and conduct job searches that ultimately
lead to permanent employment. |

Training portion of
curriculum lasts four weeks; job search and retention
services also offered. |

Workshops cover topics
including attitude, communication, goals & motivation,
conflict resolution, interviewing techniques, ethics,
and much more. |

With proper referral
from Burlington County, an Early Employment Initiative
Program is available. |
