Goodwill's School-to-Work Program helps bridge the gap between school and the workplace for special needs students from the Camden City school district. Students spend part of their day in the classroom receiving academic instruction from Camden high school teachers and the other part of their day learning hands-on, marketable job skills in preparation for employment after high school graduation. Students learn both retail and light industrial skills. The program includes job shadowing at local businesses. Based in
Goodwill's Pennsauken facility, School-to-Work is a partnership with the Camden City Board of Education. For more information, please contact Jen Mauro at 856/439-0200, ext. 243 or jmauro@goodwillnj.org.
